presents Wayne Krefting

Based in  Minnesota, Wayne Krefting has been performing professionally for over 15 years in live stage shows as well as live and recorded television and video programming.

In settings as varied as Twin Cities libraries and parks, national and regional puppetry festivals, Bloomington Minnesota's River Rendezvous, Children's Hospitals  in Minneapolis and St Paul, and as far away as Costa Rica, audiences have enjoyed his animal characters and raucous, good humor.

Some of Wayne's television and video credits include "Once Upon a Tree" pilot, series programming for AGS Publishers, "Libraryland", a Canadian pilot, various industrial videos, "Wishing Well"--live, interactive television programming for Children's Hospital, appearances on KTCA (TPT2) public television's "Almanac" and pledge drives, and WCCO-TV (CBS affiliate).

Wayne Krefting is the current President of the Puppeteers of America after serving on the Board of Trustees, Director for the Puppeteers of America 4 day National Festival in 1994, Co-chair for Public Events for the Puppeteers of America's 2005 National Festival, as well as president of the the local guild Twin Cities Puppeteers.
